New member just purchased 95 gpz1100 clutch slips

Hello,I am new here and need some help.I just bought a 95 gpz1100 with 12,000 miles.If you are in first or 2nd gear and give this thing alot of throttle is seems like the tranny is slipping it just revs up and if you let off the throttle a little it grabs.Is there anyway you can adjust the clutch discs or away to check to see if its time for a clutch kit?It seemed to do this after I changed the oil and I got that from a Kawasaki dealer.And since I do not have a manual how much oil does this thing hold? Hope someone can help!Thanks Born

I would say your clutch is slipping. I assume you get the correct (motorcycle) oil from the dealer. The is no way to adjust the clutch since it is hydrolic. Most likely it is time for a clutch kit. I would open it up and check the plates and springs to the specs to make sure.
