Hello, and where are all the gypzies?

I just wanted to ask the question that while this is great site- Why doesn't anybody use it. Kawasaki sold how many GPZ1100s? There are twenty something users registered on this site and nobody has been heard from in two months?. I the other hand I have a 95 GPZ1100 and of all the bikes I have owned I have to say this bike is the one. Great manors, performance, comfortable and not to bad on the eyes. Looking forward to seeing this site come back to life.
One more question, what the hell are Trackbacks?

well just signed up today, having an idiling issue but had a great ride home after buyinh my 01 gpz 1100 abs yesterday, she only has 19000miles and is in mint condition

Just found your site,what a find, had a GPZ1100 A2 new in 1984, fantastic bike, but being young and pissed,hit a car at about 80,lost my bike ,nearly me ,my licence,and my liberty for a while, but hey still here,got back into the bikes about 6 years ago,got a MV AGUSTA and TRIUMPH.But the old 1100 was still in me,so found one on ebay,ive had it for about 2 years now,its been totaly stripped and rebuilt, so far its like a brand new bike,just trying to find a new main loom (i did find a brand new NOS fuel loom )so still looking,and just got the engine to strip and rebuild,got many new parts for the motor ready.But the rest is finished and is as new.Cant wait for the day to be back on one,going to take me back some years! But what a find a whole site to the GPZ brilliant !! I must try and get some pics on here when its done !! Safe riding guys ....... ps i dont drink and ride now !! hurts tooo mutch...

Yep, it's the best bike no one knows about, and this web site is the best web site no one uses! Maybe now that there is some interest we can change that.

In the part of Canada I live winters are very long and incredible .Yesterday was the day I got my motorcycles out of storage and the first one I rode was my GPZ 1100 ,did it vevr feel good ,this bike is total and unique has civilised power yet is absolutaly brutal if you want it to be ,I took it on the expressway and gave myself some ''let loose'' time and that bike did not decive me .My Superblackbird CRR 1100XX is not civilised nor is the riding position versus the GPZ ,and my ST 1100 is a bread a part .So I am happy that the GPZ is not realy knowed for the few of us that posseses one know how mean it can get and how great it is to ride ,wish I had these ''hard paniers'' showed on the photo of the blue GPZ ,it gives iy a look of what this bike realy is .

Hey! I just signed up today! I hope people are still using this, though your post sounds like it may not be the case.

I am a new member to the site, but have had my 1995 gpz1100 for 18 months. It's the best bike that nobody knows about in the world.

Yeah it looks like you me and Vance in the last couple of weeks. 3 new users and we have the whole site!!. I too have a 1995 GPZ1100 and it really is the best kept secret in bikes. I can't believe how cheap used ones are going for. I bought mine earlier this summer after a couple of years on a 82 KZ1000 CSR. What a difference 12 years and 100cc makes. I am happy the way the bike is now but wouldn't mind a more comfortable seat. I even got a parts bike with mine w/o an motor so if something does go I have spares but everything is there and If I ran a across a decent motor and trans, I would not hesitate to get the parts bike up and running.
